An introduction to probability, statistics, and data management with application to modern agriculture. Topics covered will include the basics of probability, probability distributions, hypothesis testing, correlation, causation, and data management. Through weekly labs students will build skills in spreadsheet software and will perform hypothesis tests on agricultural data. Weekly hours: 3 Lecture hours and 2.5 Practicum/Lab hoursPrerequisite(s): Successful completion of 27 credit units of university level courses or permission of the instructor.
