Specifically examines membrane transport mechanisms, bioelectricity and fundamental principles of muscle and nervous system physiology, evolution and plasticity. Cellular mechanisms underlying learning and memory are introduced. Weekly hours: 3 Lecture hours and 4 Practicum/Lab hoursPrerequisite(s): BIOL 224.3; CHEM 112.3; CHEM 115.3 or CHEM 250.3 (CHEM 115 recommended). Note: PHYS 115 and 117 are recommended.
