Building off the knowledge learned from BMIS 321, this course takes a deeper dive into the cellular and molecular mechanisms as well as functions of the immune system. Topics to be discussed include but are not limited to congenital and acquired immunodeficiencies, autoimmunity, transplant immunology, tumor immunology and immune responses to infection.
