The course will apply the fundamental chemical, hydraulic and physical properties of soils and contaminants with an emphasis on practical engineering significance. The application of these fundamentals to geoenvironmental practice and problems is illustrated through the use of case studies. Particular focus is on two broad areas; contaminant barriers/waste management and contaminated site remediation. Weekly hours: 3 Lecture hours
