Fundamentals of cell biology and genetics will be introduced. Physical, chemical, and biological properties, characterization and analysis of biomaterials will be discussed. Biomaterial applications in the fields of pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals and food, bio-composites, biofuels, and biosensors will be also discussed.
