The primary objectives of the course are to introduce the realist philosophical paradigm and discuss the main consequences of the realist thinking for doing research in social and related sciences. Additionally, the course aims to help students apply the realist philosophical paradigm to realist synthesis and evaluation practice. Prerequisite(s): This course is intended for upper year graduate students. Departmental permission is required.
