An introduction to digital integrated circuits and system-on-chip design methodology. The course covers CMOS logic schematics and design layout, CMOS standard cell design flow, Verilog RTL design with examples, systemC overview, and basic SoC components and bus structures. Prerequisite(s): EE 221.3 Note: Students with credit for EE 432 will not receive credit for this course.
