It begins with an introduction to the importance of quality management in today's business environment. The course covers various tools, techniques, and methodologies employed in quality management and process improvement, such as statistical process control, Total Quality Management (TQM), Six Sigma, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), and Lean. Students will learn how to identify opportunities for process improvement and implement quality management tools to enhance organizational performance. Additionally, the course aims to foster critical thinking and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions based on quality metrics. By the end of the course, students should be able to recognize the significance of quality management in organizations and make contributions to process improvement initiatives.
