Total Physical Response (TPR) is a second language teaching methodology that encourages whole-brain learning. The course will introduce the process and strategies for successful vocabulary development and retention through lectures, modeling and various activities. Drama for Language Learners will consist of fundamental drama and theatre exercises designed to create opportunities for First Language revitalization and learning. Weekly hours: 3 Lecture hours and 1 Practicum/Lab hoursPrerequisite(s): Permission required. Restriction(s): Course only open to students in the Indigenous Language Certificate program.
