This course provides an overview of the fundamentals of hydrologic modelling from our perceptions of the behaviour of watershed systems to developing and testing watershed simulation models. Theory and numerical implementation of model calibration approaches, including local and global optimization, are taught. An introduction to multi-objective optimization and different approaches to sensitivity and uncertainty analysis of hydrologic models is included. Restriction(s): Students must be registered in the Master of Water Security (M.W.S.) program or have permission of the instructor
