This course explores the complex challenges facing global water systems amid rapid population growth, economic development, and climate change. It covers key topics such as water governance, policy and management, the politics of modelling, and transboundary water sharing. Students will gain insights into complex systems theory, decision making under deep uncertainty, and the economics of water, equipping them with the skills necessary to develop resilient and adaptive strategies for water resource management. Restriction(s): Students must be registered in the Master of Water Security (M.W.S.) program or have permission of the instructor.
