Designed to provide the student with an appreciation and understanding of the theory and practice of coaching. Students will look at the development of techniques of communication between the coach, individuals and/or groups as they relate to team organization and integration. There will be a development of the concept that coaching is a specialized form of teaching. Weekly hours: 3 Lecture hoursRestriction(s): Students must be entering third year or fourth year of their programs in the College of Kinesiology or the College of Education. Prerequisite(s): KIN 146 and KIN 150 OR KIN 121, KIN 122, and KIN 150.
