Will focus on exercise programming for older adults with respect to understanding the biology of aging as it affects potential for physical activity in later years. Emphasis will be on the special and changing needs of older adults and the adaptations to traditional exercise modalities necessary to ensure success in "active living." As part of the practicum experience, students are expected to 3 Lecture hours and 1.5 Practicum/Lab hoursPrerequisite(s): KIN 225 and 226.
