Examines the effects of nutritional intake and drug usage on physical performance. Preparation for competitive or recreational activities demands an understanding of: (1) the nutritional requirements which underpin such activity, and (2) the major consequences that ingestion of performance enhancing drugs may have upon the health and physical achievement of an individual. Weekly hours: 3 Lecture hours and 2 Practicum/Lab hoursPrerequisite(s): KIN 225 and 226. Note: Students with credit for NUTR 200 will not receive credit for this course.
