As part of implementing the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada’s Call to Action #28 for law schools, this course provides students with an introduction to social theory, legal doctrine and skills development pertinent to human rights protection, anti-racism and anti-oppression, as well as intercultural humility in Canada. Restriction(s): Students must be enrolled in Year 1 of the J.D. program, or be a transfer student who has permission of the Associate Dean Academic to take the course.
