This seminar will introduce students to the principles and process that guide the reform of the law. The seminar will use selected readings and presentations by guest lecturers and the professor to provide the foundation for a consideration of the processes, machinery and potential for law reform initiatives in areas of provincial jurisdiction. Students will be introduced to approaches to law reform, interact with the Law Reform Commission of Saskatchewan and will learn about the successes and failures of a number of recent provincial law reform initiatives. Weekly hours: 2 Seminar/Discussion hours and 1 Reading hours
