Introduces students to the analysis and design of mechatronics systems. The topics covered include electronic components for mechatronic systems, microcontrollers, sensor and data acquisition, electric actuators, control schemes, and modeling and simulation of dynamic systems. Lab sessions provide students with experience in designing and building microcontroller-embedded mechatronics systems. Prerequisite(s): ME 431.3 (taken).
