Provides opportunities to practice nursing skills and clinical judgment in the management of diverse complex acute care patients in a variety of clinical settings. The role of the professional nurse as clinician, professional, communicator, coordinator, collaborator, leader, advocate and educator will all be developed. Clinical judgement in the management of patient care will be emphasized. Weekly hours: 144 Clinical Service hoursRestriction(s): Restricted to students in the College of Nursing who are registered in the B.S.N. program or the Post-Degree B.S.N. Option.
