This course provides a comprehensive introduction to the foundational elements of occupational therapy (OT) practice, integrating anatomical knowledge, theoretical frameworks, evidence-based practice and occupational therapy practices. Students will engage with fundamental concepts of occupational assessment and intervention strategies, grounded in relevant theoretical frameworks and evidence-based practice. Students will explore the significance of occupations in human health and well-being and develop the emerging skills necessary for effective, ethical, and inclusive practice. Restriction(s): For students in the Master of Occupational Therapy (M.O.T.) program only.
