This course provides first-year occupational therapy students with a comprehensive understanding of human development, aging, and mental health. Students will learn about the developmental pathways from infancy through adolescence, the changes across body systems during aging, and fundamental mental health concepts. Emphasis will be placed on understanding the interplay between physical, cognitive, emotional, spiritual, and physiological changes on occupational performance. Restriction(s): For students in the Master of Occupational Therapy (M.O.T.) program only.
