This introductory pharmacy practice experience (IPPE) occurs after completion of first year and before second year in the program for a duration of 4 weeks (160 hours). Students will begin to participate in direct patient care activities under the supervision of a qualified preceptor and will apply knowledge and skills learned in year 1 courses. Restriction(s): Admission to the Pharm.D. program in the College of Pharmacy & Nutrition. Prerequisite(s): PHAR 190.0; Successful completion of all year 1 PharmD courses.
