In a simulated practice environment, students will practice and apply essential skills and methods of the patient care process incorporating patient concerns and topics including social behavioral, pharmacotherapeutic and pharmacoscience content covered in the didactic portion of the curriculum in complex patients with complex problems. Students will practice and apply drug information skills, prescription processing and checking skills, medication administration, physical assessment skills, use of information technology, collaboration with technicians, and prescribing. Weekly hours: 3 Practicum/Lab hoursRestriction(s): Completion of Year 2 of the Pharm.D. Program. Prerequisite(s): PHAR 390.0.
