This is a research course for graduate students in the Project Option of the Master's Degree Program in Political Studies. The major research paper should be approximately 40 pages in length and be written on a topic agreed upon by the supervisor and the student. It should demonstrate the student's ability to undertake advanced research, his/her knowledge of literature relevant to the chosen topic, and his/her capacity to articulate a research question and address it in a coherent, organized and well-written manner. The paper will be evaluated by the faculty member who is the supervisor and who has expertise in the field of the topic. Prerequisite(s):Open to students admitted to the Department of Political Studies in the Major Research Project Option of the Master's program.
