This course equips psychology majors with essential skills for writing in the discipline. Topics covered may include: developing an effective writing practice, the academic writing process, American Psychological Association (APA) style, academic honesty in writing, and how to evaluate, summarize, and synthesize psychological literature. Through hands-on practice and personalized feedback, students will refine their ability write effectively and efficiently in psychology. Weekly hours: 3 Lecture hours and 1 Tutorial hoursPrerequisite(s): Two of HLST 110.3, PSY 120.3, or PSY 121.3.
