This course will examine components of physical therapy practice across the lifespan, focusing on paediatrics, obstetrics, and incontinence. Topics include the pathophysiology and physical therapy management of common, multi-system conditions in children; normal pregnancy and fetal development, common musculoskeletal complaints and complications during pregnancy and the physical therapy management of each, and entry to practice-level physical therapy management of incontinence. Weekly hours: 2.5 Lecture hours and .5 Practicum/Lab hoursRestriction: Must be accepted into the M.P.T. program to register.
