Prepares physiotherapy students to assess and treat individuals with neurological conditions including Guillain Barre syndrome, Alzheimer’s disease, and spina bifida. Unique considerations in physiotherapy service provision for people with cognitive, emotional, and psychological impairments are explored, and advanced topics, quality of life, end of life, and ethical issues are investigated. Weekly hours: 2 Lecture hours and 1 Practicum/Lab hoursRestriction: Must be accepted into the M.P.T. program to register.
