A five-day field course to study forest soils, landscape dynamics, and forest ecology. The course will expose students to the theory and practice of forest soil classification, tree and forest mensuration, ecosystem services, and landscape dynamics and classification techniques. Students will work with an external stakeholder to complete an applied project throughout the semester.
