This is an introductory graduate course for clinicians and clinical researchers who need a basic understanding of clinical statistics and clinical epidemiology to carry out their own research. The course will cover areas of applied medical statistics. Common parametric and non-parametric statistical tests that are used in medical research will be presented and used. Prerequisite(s) or Corequisite(s): Completion of Clinical Trial Design (VLAC 811.1) or enrollment/completion of Introduction to Veterinary Epidemiology (VLAC 808.3) and permission from the instructor.
