This is a hands on course focusing on emergency simulations, communication and hands on procedures. Topics that will be covered include wound management, ECGs, CPR, as well as common emergency presentations. Hands on techniques include thoracocentesis and chest tube placement. Prerequisite(s): Successful completion of Year 2 of the D.V.M. program. Note: This is a Year 3 elective for students in the D.V.M. program.
