Open to students with no prior experience of Welsh. Students will acquire fundamentals of reading, writing, grammar and spoken Scots. Poetry, songs and folktales introduce students to the language, literature and folklore of the Scots language, from the Renaissance poets through to Burns, MacDiarmid and modern artists. No prior knowledge of the language is required.
