This course deals with three inter-related themes β immigration, multiculturalism, and citizenship β by focusing on a single unifying question: What does it mean to βbelongβ to the Canadian political community? Who belongs, on what terms, and to what ends? A range of materials β normative, empirical, historical, and contemporary β will be used.
