This course examines the earth's atmosphere, how it affects our everyday life, and how we in turn, as the technologically dominant earth-borne species, affect it. This course is suitable for non-science students. Atmospheric phenomena such as wind, temperature, composition, precipitation and electricity are used to illustrate basic physical principles.
